BREAKTHROUGH: PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SELF-LEADERSHIP SERVICES

About Breakthrough Psychological Self-Leadership Services

Meet The Director
Owen is a highly experienced therapeutic practitioner, clinical supervisor, wellbeing mentor, and children and young people specialist with nearly a decade of supporting people and organisations to thrive through compassionate, evidence-based care.

With nine years across health, education, and community services, Owen has guided hundreds of individuals through challenges around mental health, identity, disability, withdrawal from education and employment, cultural integration, and personal growth. Drawing on expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, trauma-informed practice, and pastoral care, Owen helps clients build resilience, confidence, and direction by working with the nervous system, shifting unhelpful thought patterns, and focusing on what truly matters.

Owen brings particular expertise in supporting neurodivergent communities, particularly ADHD and autism, and is an LGBTQ+ affirmative practitioner with lived experience of queer relationships. They are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space for all.

Their professional journey spans frontline CBT, crisis management, therapeutic mentoring, disability inclusion, learning support, and success advising in Higher Education. They’ve also led public wellbeing conferences, designed workshops on mental health and resilience, delivered training for organisations on EDI, team dynamics, workplace wellbeing, and trained extensively in supervision, psychological therapies, and neurodiversity.

Clients can expect a collaborative and holistic approach, beginning with a careful assessment of needs and goals. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, identity challenges, or developing strategies for thriving with neurodiversity, Owen supports people to embrace self-leadership and move toward greater well-being, acceptance, and growth.
